The Valley Climbing Centre is one of two indoor climbing centres operated by Climb Newcastle Ltd in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The centre offers bouldering and roped climbing for all abilities, from complete beginners through to experienced climbers and competition-level athletes.
Induction sessions for adults and families provide a safe introduction to climbing, while junior programmes including Rock Stars classes (ages 3–17) and the Academy cater for younger climbers.
Adult coaching options range from one-to-one sessions to improver classes, and the centre hosts regular competitions such as the Annual Spring Boulder Open (ASBO) and junior inter-school events. A summer boulder ladder runs throughout the season, alternating between The Valley and its sister centre, The Pool.
