UBSK Norton Radstock Shotokan Karate Club is a traditional Shotokan karate club led by Chief Instructor Wayne Teall, 7th Dan, with over 50 years of teaching experience.

Classes are open to all ages and abilities — beginners and experienced karateka alike, male and female — with a strong emphasis on health, fitness, and self-defence in a friendly, non-confrontational environment. There is no maximum age limit. Separate early evening sessions are available for children.

The club is certificated by the Martial Arts Standards Agency (MASA), and all instructors are fully qualified, insured, and DBS registered. Classes run at three venues across the Norton Radstock area on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

Opening hours

Mondays 7–9pm (Children's session 7–8pm) at Orchard Vale Community Centre; Tuesdays 6–7pm and 7–8pm at Norton Hill School; Wednesdays 7–9pm (Children's session 7–8pm) at Paulton Village Hall
