AnneSophie Sjöblom Yoga

AnneSophie Sjöblom Yoga is a training and course operation based in Kungsholmen in Stockholm, run by AnneSophie Sjöblom, who has been teaching yoga, meditation and pranayama since 2006.

The offering focuses on in-depth training programmes and shorter courses rather than regular drop-in classes: the foundational programmes Lymfyoga Slow Flow and Compassionate Yin are available on an ongoing basis, as is the advanced programme LymfYin and Flödande Yinyoga for practising yin yoga teachers. The cohesive programme Heart of Yin combines three parts into 100 hours.

In addition to the training programmes, weekend courses are held, such as Yogans Hjärta with a focus on pranayama and yoga philosophy, retreats in a monastery setting in Vadstena and in Järvsö combined with Vedic Art, as well as longer Ayurvedic trips to Sri Lanka. The format is largely online, though in-person gatherings and retreats are included.

What distinguishes the operation is its specialisation in lymph yoga and yin yoga with a clear compassion-based pedagogy, connected to Ayurveda and the more subtle dimensions of yoga. Suited to those who wish to deepen an existing practice, train as a teacher in yin or lymph yoga, or are looking for a calmer and more inward-oriented form of yoga.
