Urkraft Dansskola is located at Sveavägen 128 in central Stockholm and specialises in African and Caribbean dance for adults and young people from the age of 8. The timetable includes courses in Afrobeats, Afro Fusion, Kizomba and West African dance to drums, as well as djembe drumming courses. Workshops are held on a rolling basis, and terms are divided into scheduled blocks of five to six sessions.

Classes are held in small groups with professional instructors and drummers playing live — a format that creates a completely different energy from recorded music. It is the live drum rhythm accompanying the West African dance that stands out most and places the studio in a category of its own among Stockholm's dance courses.
