Iyengaryoga Täby

Iyengaryoga Täby is a studio in Stockholm specialising in Iyengar yoga, a form of Hatha yoga in which precise anatomical alignment and body awareness are central. Teaching is carried out by certified instructors following the internationally recognised Iyengar method, meaning that teachers undergo several years of training and ongoing continuing education in order to maintain their certification.

The studio offers a wide range of classes and courses, including foundation courses for beginners, pregnancy yoga, sessions for athletes and corporate yoga. Classes are held both at the studio and online, and props such as blocks, straps, blankets and sandbags are used regularly to make the poses accessible regardless of experience level. In addition to the regular sessions, workshops are organised with international guest teachers, as well as retreats to destinations such as France, Spain and Thailand.

For those who wish to try out what is on offer, there is a trial class at a reduced price. Paying members can choose between drop-in, a class pass or term courses. The studio is also active on YouTube and Instagram, and during the summer offers a summer pass giving unlimited access to all classes for ten weeks.
