Korpen Stockholm

Korpen Stockholm is a non-profit recreational sports association on Södermalm, located at Skansbrogatan 7, founded in 1944 and active in the City of Stockholm and surrounding municipalities. The range of activities is broad: dance, zumba, circuit training, gymnastics, Stark & Smidig, pilates, yoga and postnatal fitness share space with a wide selection of ball sports such as football, floorball, basketball, handball and volleyball, as well as racket sports including badminton, squash, table tennis and padel – all organised as league play, cups or regular training sessions.

The operation is built on the association model rather than the studio concept: the focus is on group community and the joy of exercise in an inclusive environment, not on small boutique classes with personal coaching. The activities are aimed at people of all fitness levels, and there is also a corporate wellness offering for employers.

A good fit if you want a wide range of activities under a single membership, enjoy an association structure and league play, or are looking for an affordable way to be active socially – the membership fee is 70 kr per year.
