Yoga Vishnu

Yoga Vishnu is a small yoga studio in Vasastan, Stockholm, located on Observatoriegatan near Odenplan. The studio teaches Hatha Yoga in combination with breathing exercises, meditation and Vedic philosophy — a holistic practice that extends beyond the purely physical.

Classes are led by founder Vishnu Syamlal, an internationally certified yoga teacher with extensive experience of teaching both beginners and more advanced practitioners. Groups are kept deliberately small, with a maximum of 6–8 participants per class, giving each student personal attention and tailored guidance. A 90-minute session is standard, and the teaching weaves in elements such as Surya Namaskar, Kundalini exercises and mantras drawn from the Rigveda tradition. What sets the studio apart from more conventional yoga venues is precisely this — a clear grounding in classical Vedic knowledge, rather than purely physical exercise.

Suited to those seeking a calm, intimate environment with a small group who wish to understand the deeper context of yoga — not merely to move the body, but to integrate the practice into everyday life. Group, private and corporate classes are offered.
