Yogaffekt

Yogaffekt is a studio in Gärdet, Stockholm, that combines yoga practice with psychological methodology. The work is built on a structured combination of Mediyoga, yin yoga, mindfulness and compassion-focused exercises, where each element is designed to interact with the others. The aim is to strengthen the connection between body and mind, and to provide tools for managing emotions, thought patterns and stress in everyday life.

Behind the concept are Anita Davén-Söder, yoga teacher and mindfulness instructor, and Lotten Lönnerstam, licensed psychotherapist and compassion-focused therapist. Their collaboration is grounded in clinical experience and current research into how body and mind mutually influence one another. The method creates space for reflection, calms the nervous system and trains the capacity for self-compassion.

The studio offers weekend courses as well as individual consultations, and is based at Yogamottagningen on Armfeltsgatan 23 in Gärdet. The work is aimed at those who wish to deepen their inner awareness and develop concrete strategies for wellbeing, rather than seeking physical exercise alone.
