Aikido Dulwich is a community-focused dojo offering Aikikai Aikido classes in the Crystal Palace area of London. The club practises a soft, dynamic and technical form of Aikikai Aikido rooted in the lineage of Tanaka Bansen Shihan, a pre-war student of Aikido founder Morihei Ueshiba, and is affiliated to the Osaka Aikikai in Japan.
Classes are open to adults aged 14 and over — from complete beginners to experienced martial artists — and are described as nurturing, flowy and technically rich, with an emphasis on non-competition, non-resistance, self-defence and self-cultivation.
