Black Tiger Martial Arts is a community-rooted martial arts school based in South Manchester, operating from two locations in Wythenshawe and Northern Moor. Founded nearly two decades ago, the school is affiliated with the Ashihara Karate World Independent Union (AKWIU).

Its core system, Ashihara Karate Jutsu, is a hybrid style blending Ashihara Karate with Japanese Jujitsu, Judo, Aikido, Chin Na, Shuai Jiao and TaiChi, emphasising practical self-defence through the Sabaki movement concept.

Additional programmes include Urban Tiger Kempo (offered as a beginner course), Japanese Kickboxing (currently closed), Cheng Man Ch'ing TaiChi, Traditional Weapons, and Private Lessons. Classes are offered for juniors (ages 5–11), seniors (12+) and adults (15+). All instructors hold current DBS certification and First Aid qualifications.

The school is led by Chief Instructor Sensei Stephanie Wylson, with Shihan Ken G Wylson (5th Dan, founder) acting as Senior Consultant. The first class is free.
