Combat Athletics Academy is a BJJ and martial arts club based in Cornwall, led by Steve Brown — a BJJ black-belt and 27-year veteran of the Parachute Regiment. The academy offers classes for all levels in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Gi and No-Gi), Women's Self-Defence, Kids BJJ, and Adult Striking.

Training blends BJJ, Judo, Wrestling, Catch Wrestling, and Military Combatives, with a focus on realistic, effective techniques. Sessions are 90 minutes and follow a structured format. Classes run across two venues: Combat Academy in Wadebridge and WAX Gym in Newquay.
