Core Power Pilates is a tranquil boutique studio in the heart of Donabate, billing itself as the village's first dedicated Reformer Pilates studio. Classes focus on core strength, stability, alignment, flexibility, balance and full-body toning, and suit every age and body type.

Group classes are capped at six people and run on Allegro II reformers from Balanced Body USA, using props such as resistance bands, stability balls, magic circle and poles. One-to-one and duet sessions with an internationally certified trainer are also available, and exercises can be modified for injuries or back pain.

New clients begin with a private 1-2-1 assessment before joining a class. The studio plans to add rehabilitation and sports-injury Pilates, pre/post natal Pilates, yoga and classes for older adults.
