CORE Taekwondo Academy (Cumbria's Original Residence of Excellence) is a Taekwondo club based in Kendal, training students from age 5 upwards in both the traditional martial art and Olympic-style sport. Originally established in 1972 as Cumbria Taekwondo Club, the academy operates from a purpose-designed, fully matted Do-Jang with a viewing area for parents.
With 80+ students across Cumbria and Lancashire, it offers classes for Mini Ninjas, Novices, Advanced and Senior students, as well as development pathways in coaching, grassroots and talent development for national and international competition.
