Gymophobics Garforth is a ladies-only health and fitness centre that has been welcoming women of all ages — from teens to seventy-plus — since opening in March 2017.
Owned by Adele and Craig, the centre offers a warm, non-intimidating environment built around the brand's trademarked Resisted Tension (RT) programme, which combines isometric muscle contractions with resistance-machine exercise.
There are no treadmills, weights or mirrors — just personalised coaching from qualified instructors who are with you throughout every pre-booked session. The centre also offers digital classes filmed by founder Donna Hubbard, ranging from quick 5-minute blasts to sessions of 30 minutes or more.
Whether your goal is weight loss, improved mobility, better mental health or simply feeling better in yourself, membership starts from as little as £1.50 per day.
