Hampshire Barbell Club is an Olympic Weightlifting club based in Portchester, Hampshire, established in 2017. Operating from The Club House at Portchester Community School, the club offers a full weekly timetable of Olympic Weightlifting sessions for adults and juniors, plus Fundamentals classes and Open Gym.
Coaches hold BWL Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications, and the club holds British Weightlifting Inclusion Academy status — one of only a handful in the country. Coaches have achieved medals at European and World Masters level, making this a serious yet welcoming environment for lifters of all abilities.
