The International Japan Karate Association – United Kingdom (IJKA UK) is a Shotokan karate association with roots dating back to 1966, when the Japan Karate Association sent the late Kato Shihan to teach in England.

IJKA UK was formed by Kato Shihan's UK seniors following his passing in 2020, in order to uphold his legacy and preserve his unique Shotokan karate style for future generations. Led by Chief Instructor Keith Crighton Sensei, 7th Dan, the association operates dojos across the UK and is affiliated to IJKA International, headquartered in Yokohama, Japan.
