JR Gym is a community-based boxing gym in Preston serving everyone from ages 5 to adults, from total beginners to elite athletes. Head coach Johnney Roye holds Level 2 England Boxing and Professional Boxing credentials, having competed as an amateur boxer and later winning British, European, Commonwealth and World titles in Muay Thai.

The gym features a cardio room with spin bikes, treadmills, cross trainers and a multi-system weights machine, plus two boxing rings and multiple bags on the main floor. Classes include Mini Mayweathers for ages 5–10, kids sessions for ages 10–15, adult sessions, elite training and a women-only class.

The gym has produced multiple North West Regional Champions, national title holders and boxers who have competed for British, European and World titles. An on-site physiotherapy service is also available from an experienced head physiotherapist.
