Lancashire Climbing & Caving Club (The Lancs) is an active climbing and caving club founded in 1936, welcoming members from across the UK. With over 200 members, the club offers a packed schedule covering bouldering, sport climbing, trad climbing, winter climbing, and caving, as well as overseas climbing expeditions.
Members also enjoy a social calendar including walks, bike rides, and an annual dinner. The club owns two huts — Tranearth in the Lake District and Dan-Y-Mynydd in Snowdonia — and enjoys reciprocal access to other clubs' huts.
