Legacy Mixed Martial Arts is a structured teaching academy built for people who want to learn martial arts the right way. Whether you're brand new, training for fitness, or preparing to compete, Legacy MMA focuses on real instruction and long-term development through structured progression, disciplined repetition, and purposeful training.

The school is built around five pillars: wrestling control, tactical striking, clinch and wall pressure, dominant top control, and adaptability between phases. Programs include Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts, Striking, and a Beginner Foundations Track.

Head instructor Jordan Dowdy is a 14-fight professional MMA veteran with Bellator experience, a BJJ first-degree black belt, and a former Brown Belt World Champion. The culture emphasises mutual respect, controlled intensity, and a welcoming environment for both competitors and hobbyists.
