Master Ding Academy

Master Ding Academy Dublin is the Dublin branch of the international Master Ding Academy, founded by Master John Ding of the 6th-generation Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan lineage. It teaches the full syllabus of Traditional Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan through certified instructors trained personally by lineage holders Master John Ding and Master Alan Ding.

Classes cover tai chi for health, meditation, self-healing and fitness, as well as higher-level aspects such as self defence and the martial applications of the art. Evening classes run across Dublin, including Ranelagh, led by lead instructor Ross Cousens, who has trained under Master Ding since 1997.

Members can also join workshops and retreats with Masters John and Alan Ding and become part of an international network of practitioners.
