Rune Martial Arts is a community-based martial arts academy in Woodmancote, Cheltenham, offering Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) for adults, with children's BJJ classes planned. Founded in 2007 as Fighting Fit Mixed Martial Arts and rebranded after Covid, the academy is affiliated to Neto Nunes (The Gauntlet Fight Factory, London).
It operates as a non-profit co-ownership, with coaches teaching free of charge and all fees going toward running costs. Training is held in a fully matted, permanently equipped facility and covers structured BJJ classes, open mat sessions, striking, conditioning, and private or group tuition.
