Ballincollig Taekwon Do School is part of TaeKwon-Do Ireland (TKDI), a modern association with clubs across Ireland. Classes are open to all ages and experience levels, taught by instructors who have passed the TKDI Instructors Course, hold FETEC first aid qualifications and have completed the Code of Ethics course through Cork Sports Partnership.

The Ballincollig club is led by chief instructor Catherine O'Boyle, a 6th degree black belt and the association's Student Welfare Officer, who is passionate about developing children through martial arts. Training is built around the five tenets of TaeKwon-Do: courtesy, self control, integrity, perseverance and indomitable spirit.
