The BJJ Academy is an online Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community founded in 2023 by two BJJ Black Belts, Matt and Nick, who first met in 2006 training under the SBG (Straight Blast Gym) banner.
They offer a growing catalogue of instructional videos covering everything from beginner fundamentals to advanced techniques — including guard passing, submissions, takedowns, top pins and more — alongside a unique 'Ask Us' feature giving members direct access to both founders for personalised video feedback and advice.
