The Gym Carlow is one of three clubs in The Gym group (alongside Monasterevin and Newbridge), located at Barrow Valley Retail Park on the Sleaty Road. The gym is known for its premium equipment, with Hammer Strength, Arsenal Strength, Watson, Cybex and Life Fitness machines, lifting platforms, a functional training rig and dumbbells up to 80kg, plus free parking.

A timetable of group classes runs through the week, including Spin, HIIT, Metcon, Core & Stretch and Total Body Strong & Sculpted. A team of personal trainers is on hand for one-to-one coaching, and an InBody scanner is available for body composition scans. Teen strength and conditioning blocks for ages 13-15 run throughout the year.

Members can book classes and track progress in the club app, and day passes and non-member class passes are available. The club is open Monday to Friday 6am-9:30pm, Saturday 8am-6pm and Sunday 9am-4pm.
