Yoga & Meditation Center on Lidingö is one of the more established yoga centres in the Stockholm area — it has been in operation since 1994 and is based in Hustegaholm. The centre offers courses in Medicinsk Hatha Yoga and Dynamisk Hatha Yoga, with up to nine scheduled course sessions per week during term time. In between, drop-in classes are available to book. The classes combine muscle-strengthening movements, deep breathing and stretching positions, and each session ends with meditation.

The premises in Högberga have underfloor heating, which creates a comfortable atmosphere for practice, and sessions are also held in Torsvik. Teaching is instructor-led and adapted to each participant's individual circumstances — regardless of age, experience or physical condition. The fact that pregnant women are also welcome in the classes reflects an inclusive approach.

Suitable for those who live on Lidingö or nearby and want a regular yoga practice in a calm, accessible format — particularly if you prefer classical Hatha Yoga over more trend-driven forms of exercise.
