Yogamottagningen

Yogamottagningen is a wellness and yoga centre located in Gärdet in Stockholm, with a broad offering that extends well beyond a standard yoga timetable. The studio combines regular yoga classes with in-depth courses, weekend courses and trips to destinations including India and Tuscany. The range of disciplines covers several yoga styles as well as specialised programmes, among them a dedicated three-step programme for migraine and a headache clinic offering both group courses and individual consultations.

In addition to yoga, a wide range of treatments is available: tactile massage, wellness massage (friskvårdsmassage), shirodara, Ayurvedic facial massage, baby massage and rosen treatments. Ayurveda forms a central part of the operation, with health counselling, Ayurvedic treatments and visits from an Indian doctor. There is also a concept called Yogaffekt, which combines mediyoga with psychotherapy.

The premises can be hired for your own classes or retreats, and there is also the option to hire a Scanian farmhouse for longer retreat purposes. Booking is done via Understory. Yogamottagningen suits those seeking a holistic perspective on health and wellbeing, with a particular interest in Ayurveda, yoga for specific conditions or in-depth treatments.
