Aspire Judo Academy is a judo club for children and young people aged 4 to 21, led by Phil Hornby, a 4th Dan black belt with over 40 years of judo experience and 20 years of coaching.

The academy focuses on making judo fun and engaging, replacing old-fashioned training methods with a positive, encouraging atmosphere that builds physical coordination, focus, discipline, confidence and friendships. Classes run across multiple community venues throughout the week, covering Guisborough, Ingleby Barwick, Norton, Redcar, Coulby Newham and Billingham.

New members receive a free judo kit when they join.
