Capoeira Club Essex is a family-run school founded by Rui De Sousa and Maya Walters, offering weekly Capoeira classes for children (ages 5–8) and adults across East London and Essex.
Rooted in Afro-Brazilian community traditions, the club provides adult evening sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays, kids' open classes at The Limes Centre in Chigwell, private one-on-one coaching, birthday parties, schools and nurseries programmes, and live performances across the UK and beyond.
Part of the wider Capoeira Club network founded by Mestre Hiram Ribeiro, all coaches are DBS-checked and first-aid trained.
