Founded in 1961, Cheadle Modern Health Gym is a members-only, old-school weight training gym located on the 2nd floor of Vernon Mill in Stockport. Primarily a free-weights gym with over three tonnes of iron, it also offers cable machines, punch bags, kettlebells, Concept 2 Rowers and Wattbikes.
The gym caters to bodybuilders, powerlifters, athletes and anyone seeking a no-nonsense, hard-core workout in a friendly, inclusive environment. Members enjoy 24/7 access, 365 days a year — no contracts required.
