CityGym is a lifter-run powerlifting and strength gym in the heart of Limerick City, on Sexton Street. Built around an old-school, electric atmosphere, it offers over 5,000 kg of calibrated plates, competition racks from Eleiko and ER, deadlift platforms and a wide range of power and specialty bars.

Hand-picked machines include a Hammer Strength plate-loaded chest press, Cybex dual-axis overhead press and adductor/abductor, plus cable rows, lat pulldowns, leg extensions, hamstring curls, calf raises, dip stations and dumbbells. Whether you train for powerlifting, bodybuilding, general strength or physique, the gym welcomes you.

The team also provides online powerlifting coaching, a beginner Learn to Powerlift programme and runs the European Powerlifting Conference. Day and week passes and CityGym apparel are available in the shop. Open 8am-9pm Monday to Friday and 12pm-6pm on Saturdays and bank holidays.
