Combat Base Wakefield is a professional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and Judo academy based inside Total Fitness Wakefield, offering classes for every generation — from toddlers and children to adults and masters.

Led by Marc Thompson (BJJ Black Belt, 2nd Dan Judo, EJU Level 4 performance coach) and Emma Thompson (2nd Dan Judo, BJJ Brown Belt), the academy provides structured programmes including Children's BJJ, Youth BJJ, Adult Gi and No-Gi BJJ, Judo, Women's Only, and family sessions.

UKBJJA Silver Level certified, with a strong emphasis on community, mental wellbeing, and inclusive training for all skill levels.
