Lycan Grappling Academy is Belfast's premier Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and grappling academy, founded in 1997 by Graham Keys — the holder of Northern Ireland's first BJJ black belt. With roots tracing back to Master Mauricio Gomes and legends like Roger Gracie and the Estima brothers, the academy offers world-class instruction for all ages and abilities.
Classes include BJJ Essentials, Advanced BJJ, No-Gi, Judo, Women's Only BJJ, Women's Only Self-Defence, and a dedicated Little Wolves kids programme. The name Lycan draws on Irish mythology and the spirit of the wolf, reflecting strength, transformation, and unity.
