MK Shotokan Karate Academy is a dedicated karate dojo based in Milton Keynes, offering Shotokan-style martial arts training for all ages and levels. Classes run for 1.5 hours — longer than the typical hour — covering all core aspects of karate: Kihon (basics), Kata (forms), and Kumite (sparring).
The academy is affiliated with JKS (Japan Karate Shotokai) and maintains strong links with the JKS headquarters in Japan. Whether you're aiming to compete at the highest level or simply want to improve your fitness, focus, and discipline, the academy welcomes everyone from complete beginners to advanced grades.
Karate for Kids sessions are also available, as well as private lessons. Your first lesson is free.
