Shaolin MMA is a Galway martial arts academy that opened in 2013, offering MMA, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, women's MMA and kids and teens classes. Head coach Ben Davis is a former Irish Sanshou champion, European No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu champion, CFC pro Irish MMA champion and BJJ black belt, and he has coached students to multiple Irish MMA titles and four European BJJ championships.

Complete beginners start with structured beginner courses covering fight stance, striking, clinching, wrestling, judo and jiu-jitsu, while experienced martial artists can join intermediate classes with chained grappling and striking and controlled sparring.

The academy emphasises technical progression over hard sparring, welcomes visitors from other clubs, and caters to both recreational trainers and competitors. Flexible options include drop-ins, weekly and monthly memberships, off-peak plans and summer camps.
