Sport Karate Coalition

Sport Karate Coalition (SKC) was founded in 2002, originally known as School of Masters. Their mission is to popularise and promote karate as a sport while maintaining the core traditional values of Shotokan karate.

SKC develops medal-winning athletes across all age categories — children, juniors, cadets, seniors and veterans — through high-level training that fosters mental and physical growth. Sessions are divided by age and ability: younger students enjoy fun, game-based learning with karate elements, while older students refine and advance their techniques.

Discipline, knowledge and respect are central to every class. Beyond regular training, SKC organises and attends World, European and National Championships, Internal Leagues, Samurai Competitions, Summer and Winter Camps, as well as Kata, Kumite and Dan Seminars. All instructors are DBS checked and hold safeguarding qualifications. SKC is affiliated with WUKF.
