Wolverhampton Judo Club, founded in 1966, is one of the UK's premier judo clubs and BJA Club of the Year 2006–2007. Based in the Wolverhampton area, the club offers judo sessions for all abilities — male and female — from age 5 upwards, including recreational participants, competitive players and those with special needs.

Coaches are DBS-checked, hold BJA Coaching awards, HSE First Aid Certificates and Child Protection qualifications. The club has a permanent mat area and also runs a self-defence class. Over the decades it has produced numerous international and national medal-winning competitors, including athletes competing at Olympic and World Championship level.
