Barry's - Stockholm

Barry's is an international fitness chain founded in 1998 in West Hollywood, with a studio in Stockholm in Norrmalm. The concept is built around high-intensity interval training in which participants alternate between treadmills and floor-based strength training under the guidance of instructors. Sessions take place in what is known as the Red Room, a darkly lit space with subdued lighting and high energy, where Woodway treadmills are used for the cardio portion.

Each session combines cardiovascular and strength work in a structured format, with the weekly schedule targeting different muscle groups for a balanced training routine. Those who prefer not to run can opt for a so-called Double Floor alternative and dedicate the entire session to strength training. Instructors guide each interval and adapt the exercises to participants' levels.

In addition to the training itself, the studio offers changing rooms with showers, towels and hair care products, as well as a Fuel Bar serving protein shakes and supplements. Barry's is represented in Stockholm and Göteborg, and booking is done via the chain's shared website or app.
