JFI Karate Academy, founded in 2009 by Sensei Janice Francis-Irwin, offers Ishinryu karate classes for kids, teenagers, adults and families across East London.

Led by a former international karate champion with over 30 years of experience, the academy teaches the Ishinryu style — a hybrid of Kyokushinkai, Wadoryu and Shotokan — with a strong emphasis on life skills, confidence, discipline, fitness and self-defence.

Classes are held at venues in Ilford and Romford, catering to all ages from age 5 upward, with a welcoming family atmosphere.
