The Peacock Gym is a beloved community charity gymnasium founded in 1978 in Canning Town, East London, famous for producing world-class boxing champions including Frank Bruno and Lennox Lewis. The facility features three boxing rings, a fully equipped gymnasium, an aerobics hall, a community café, a dance studio, a recording studio with sound room, and a hair and beauty salon.
Classes are offered in ABA Boxing, White Collar Boxing, Muay Thai, Kick Boxing, Karate, Circuit Training, Yoga, and Football, with personal training available to all levels. The gym also runs the Peacock Academy, an award-winning programme using sport to inspire young people aged 14–19 in entrepreneurial and business skills.
