CfMS – Center for Mindfulness Sweden AB

Center for Mindfulness Sweden (CfMS) is a training and course centre in Norrmalm, Stockholm, offering evidence-based programmes in mindfulness and self-compassion. The course range includes MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) over 8 weeks – both online and with in-person sessions – as well as MBKT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy) in formats such as "Finna Lugn i en Stressig Värld" and the longer 8-week programme for depression prevention. In addition, MSC (Mindful Self-Compassion) is offered in a group format, a course in trauma-sensitive approaches, and retreats focused on silence, breathwork and self-compassion.

The format is course-based rather than drop-in, and teaching takes place in small groups with certified teachers. CfMS is distinguished by its teacher training in MBSR, MBKT and MSC to international standards – a step-by-step programme from Practicum (step 2) to full teacher certification (step 6) – and has established partnerships with, among others, Karolinska Institutet and Uppsala Universitet.
