Yeshin Norbu Meditationscenter

Yeshin Norbu Meditationscenter is a non-profit membership organisation located in Stockholm, founded in 2017 by a number of volunteers with a shared vision of making mental training accessible to everyone. The centre draws inspiration from the Dalai Lama's work on secular ethics and universal values, and offers a broad programme ranging from meditation practices and mindfulness to Buddhist philosophy and physical wellbeing.

The centre caters to both beginners and more experienced practitioners. The programme includes drop-in classes, multi-week courses and retreats in areas such as compassion training, bodhicitta and Buddhist philosophy. Every Monday, free drop-in meditations are held, led by experienced teachers including ordained monks and nuns. The centre also welcomes visiting teachers of international standing.

In addition to the regular teaching, there is the option to become a paying member or Guardian to support the organisation, as well as to hire the centre's premises for your own events. The centre also offers a so-called Mental Gym Card and holds communal practice days for its community. The website is available in both English and Swedish.
